In Feburary 2018 the Association for the Visual Arts (AVA) in Cape Town hosted an exhibition of Bradshaw’s gouaches which were made in the 1970’s and probably only ever shown unframed and pinned up at the Rhodes University gallery.  These are the only gouaches that remain in his archive and little is known about these works.  They reflect a playful rendering of nature and the South African landscape presenting us with a small body of work that is largely different to his better known oil paintings – who knows - perhaps made in a balmy moment of joy.
